Concert To Celebrate The Queen’s 90th Birthday held at St Mary’s Parish Church, Ambleside

This evening Burneside Brass under the direction of our MD Mr L Johnston were pleased to be invited to put on a Concert To Celebrate The Queen’s 90th Birthday held at St Mary’s Parish Church, Ambleside and hosted by The Rotary Club of Ambleside.
The concert was opened with 2 verses of The National Anthem and then we started our program with the March To The Front Arr L Johnston, followed by Jerusalem, The Floral Dance, Fantasia on British Sea Songs, The Hymn tune Eventide, The March Motondo, Serenade Arr L Johnston, Going Home, Just a closer walk and we closed the first half of our concert with 1914 March.
After a short interval we returned to the concert platform and started our second half of the program with Peace and Plenty Arr L Johnston, I Vow to Thee My Country, Air and Rondo, Ticket to Ride, Pride of the Fair Arr L Johnston, The Great Escape, Waterloo to the Somme Arr L Johnston, Tuxedo Junction Arr C Woods, Pomp and Circumstance and we closed our performance tonight with The Kings Own Royal Border Regiment March.
