First Concert for 2016

This evening Burneside Brass under the direction of our MD Mr Laurie Johnston performed our first concert of 2016 season. The concert was held at Crooklands and we had a very appreciative audience.

We began our first half with To the Front arr L Johnston followed by Just a Closer Walk, Going Home, Ticket to Ride, Floral Dance, Lass of Richmond Hill arr L Johnston, Pride of the Fair arr L Johnston, Blaydon Races and we concluded the first half with The March Motondo.
The second half of the program began with The King’s Own Border Regiment March arr L Johnston, followed by Tuxedo Junction arr Craig Woods, Bonnie Annie Laurie arr L Johnston, The Great Escape, Waterloo to the Somme arr L Johnston, 1914 March, Sinatra in Concert arr D Higson, Gems of Irish Melody arr L Johnston and Arromanches.
At end of our performance the audience  requested an encore and so we closed this evenings concert with 1914 March.

David French Solo Euphonium – Blaydon Races
