On Sunday 1st June 2014 Burneside Brass under the direction of Mr L Johnston (MD Burneside Brass) performed at Happy Mount Park, Morecambe.
The weather was very kind to us again this afternoon with plenty of Sunshine and a good audience listening to our performance.
We began the concert with the National Anthem followed by the March Holyrood, The main theme tune from the film Gladiator, Overture Lustspiel, Concerto De Arenjuez, 1914 March, Vincent – Starry Starry Night Arr L Johnston, the Bold Gendarmes, All in The April Evening and we concluded the first half of the concert with Hoch Heideckeburg Arr L Johnston. After a short break we returned to the stand and started the second half with Glorious Victory Arr D Higson, Air and Rondo, Eternal Father Arr L Johnston, Mary Poppins selection, The Acrobat, Ticket to Ride, Buglers Holiday, Music from the film Pirates of the Caribbean and we closed our concert with The Kings Own Border Regimental march.
