On Sunday 2nd September Burneside Brass were the musical support at the Local Heroes award ceremony held at the Low wood Hotel, Ambleside. We performed the following pieces:
Opening March Trafalgar, followed by Singin’ in the Rain, The Rose Arr L Johnston, Gladiator, The Old Gumbie Cat, Memory, Demelza, The Floral Dance, I Vow to Thee my country and the March Under the Stars Arr L Johnston.
After a short break we opened the second half with the March Imperial Echoes, Let the Lower Lights be Burning Arr L Johnston, Misty, Buglers Holiday, The Rose of Tralee, The Bold Gendarmes and concluded this engagement with the March Seventeen come Sunday.

The band was under the Direction of Mr Andy Warriner who stood in for our Musical Director and a thank you to all the deputies that helped us out today
