On Sunday 8th July we made the short Journey to Cove House Silverdale, one of our regular engagements. Once again the weather was kind to both the organisers of the Cove house open day and the band.
We opened our performance with the first movement for the English Folk Song Suite, followed by The Rose of Tralee Arr L Johnston, Gladiator, Bugler’s Holiday, Concerto Aranjuez, Oklahoma, The March H.M Jollies, Demelza, Singin’ in the Rain and the march Sussex by the Sea.
After a short break for a well deserved cup of tea we returned to the stand and opened our second half of the programme with The March Home Again followed by The Shepherd’s Song, The Blaydon Races, The Grenadiers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Playmates, The Rose, The Lazy Trumpeter and we closed our performance with the march Imperial Echoes.
