St Oswald’s School charity engagement

Burneside Brass performed under the direction of Bill Hartley at a local charity event in the village of Burneside near Kendal, which of course is the home of our band.

We played a varied programme which included Death or Glory March, The selection Gershwin For brass, the Welsh traditional melody All through the night, The floral Dance, El Paso, Bandology Concert march, Light as Air, Highland Cathedral, The Old Gumbie cat, the New Colonial March and the solo items were performed by the following band soloists, Harold Roberts Flugel Horn,, Concerto de Aranjuez and Lady in Red, Debbie Caine, Solo Cornet Share my Yoke and Dave Higson Solo cornet, playing post Horn Galop on the post horn.
