Happy Mount Park, Morecambe

On Sunday 5th September Burneside Brass performed a two hour open air concert at Happy Mount Park Morecambe. This venue is used every Sunday throughout the summer months by Brass bands from the local area and we were pleased to be asked to play here in 2010.

Our two hour concert contained a varied musical programme and was warmly received by the people that had come to the park to listen to Burneside Brass perform in the park on a sunny Sunday afternoon in early September.

We opened the concert with the march Death or Glory and then continued the performance with the following pieces: – Pennine Moors Suite, El Paso, Gershwin for Brass selection, Euphonium solos Grandfathers Clock and Myfanwy performed by David French, Highland Cathedral, Light as Air, Love changes everything, March- Pennine way, Bandology concert march, Theme music from the film Pirates of the Caribbean, Flugel Horn solo Concerto de Aranjuiz performed by Harold Roberts and concluded the concert with the Old Gumbie Cat.
