Crossthwaite Gardens

Sunday 30th May the band performed in the village of Crosthwaite, Lyth Valley, as the village was hosting an open gardens event displaying 16 gardens that were open to the public. The band performed next to the bowling green, a very picturesque location and from where we could be heard throughout village. This was the third outside event we had been asked to perform for in 2010 and this time the weather stayed fine throughout the performance.

The programme was varied and consisted of:-

  • Irish Meditation
  • Moorside Suite
  • Shine Jesus Shine
  • All Through the Night
  • Highland Cathedral
  • I Dreamed a Dream
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Death or Glory
  • Old Comrades

Crosthwaite open gardens event was a fund raiser for the Lyth Valley First Responder Group, Great North Air Ambulance and North West Air Ambulance.
