It’s the first Sunday (3rd) and we have made our way to St. John’s Hospice at Lancaster to help them celebrate the 21st anniversary of the hospice. We were due to play in a tent outside during a service when candles would be lit and the tree lights switched on but the weather put a stop to things. Very high winds meant the tent had to left flapping on the grass whilst the service moved into the warmth of the buildings. The staff had done a great job moving things around to accommodate over 300 people who attended the very reflective service of thanks for the hospice. The mince pies were lovely afterwards along with the hospitality and the lights looked great in the trees, shame about the weather.
