Remembrance Sunday 12th and the weather stays dry, if somewhat cold, for the service at Windermere war memorial.
Saturday 18th finds us back in Windermere playing under the light from shop windows behind us whilst Father Christmas arrives to switch on the Christmas lights. It seems to get earlier each year.
Saturday 25th and some of us brave the cold again to play some carols near Morrisons in Kendal as a wagon loaded with over 5000 shoe boxes for children less well off abroad sets off on its journey watched by our local MP. the town mayoress and a good bunch of kind hearted supporters from local churches who have co-ordinated the area collections. Well done everyone.
